Something to sell on the Gold Coast? Trade or Service on offer? List it free

There are numerous classified ad services available for Gold Coast locals and residents, some are free and some charge if your item is worth more than a particular amount.

Some of those places include:
goldcoastbulletin.com.au/classifieds/
goldcoast.locanto.com.au
goldcoast.craigslist.com.au
gumtree.com.au/s-gold-coast/

A new player is offering free listings no matter the price, so you can sell whatever you want. You can also list Trades and Services, and advertise your Gold Coast business for free. Check it out for yourself at local.goldcoastinfo.net where you can list your item or service for free, include descriptions and photos and more.

I guess there are probably plenty of businesses that will want to take advantage of the free advertising, especially considering the free period lasts for a staggering two years at the time of writing...

enjoy :)

Empty those storage boxes and advertise your stuff for free! Gold Coast has plenty of free classified sites.

Myself, well, I admit it, I'm a hoarder. I hate throwing things away, I get to the bin and I think 'that could be useful one day' or 'i might need that later'.. It has upsides that there are times when you remember having kept something and it comes in very handy, but most of the time I don't remember that i actually kept it and end up buying another whatever... it's painful for a hoarder when you discover you that you went and bought something that you already had saved away...

So, realistically, it's just not healthy to keep all this crap I feel, just recycle and move on. But, buggered if I'm going to throw it away. First bet is to have a crack at turning it into cash. Selling on ebay is one option (costs money), another is gumtree classifieds, another is the Gold Coast Bulletins classifieds where the ad is free if it's under 500 under the GC Shopper section, Gold Coast Exchange is another and a fully free option, whatever the ad, is the local classifieds at Gold Coast Info.

I think there's even more free options for placing ads too, locanto is another, do a search on google for free classifieds and and you will see plenty of options. I guess it's all about using your time placing ads where it's likely to get results.

So, Go Forth and Clean Out that Junk! Turn it all into cash, then turn that into something really useful, like beer, or wine and tapas etc.

Another Photo of Surfers Paradise beach

Long time no blog! Well, I guess I should at least post some photos, especially considering that the Gold Coast is just so photogenic..

Do you know where this shot is taken? It's taken from Broadbeach looking towards Surfers Paradise. You can see all the accommodation hi-rise apartments and hotels that line the esplanade. Get the full run down on Gold Coast hotels and accommodation from here. I think if you are coming to the are for a holiday, then being close to the ocean is kinda a must. It's what the place is all about really...

You can go mad at all the attractions, nightlife, whatever... the thing that will stick in your mind when you leave is that big blue ocean, the peace instilling sound of the waves and the long stretching sandy beaches.

Great Australian made blogs on Travel, Queensland and Australia

More and more Australians seem to be taking to the internet and publishing their stories, articles or helpful tips via the infamous publishing platform they call blogging!

This is a good thing! The more people share, the more we all benefit. There are many days when I wish that I payed more attention in english class that would have today made me a better steward of the mighy pen, but I am also at the mercy of the curse of laziness!

To substitute for my laziness here are just some of the blogs I have come across lately which are covering topics such as travel and Australian life.

If you are really looking to get inside the head of an Australian you should probably check out Things That Australians Love. Apparently we like more than just beer? Not even I knew that.

After that you may wonder, what is it like to tour this big island continent? Well if your thinking of hooking up a caravan and going on tour, or even by some other means, then Ozdyssey is something to add to your RSS reader...

Not the reading type? Well there is few words at either of these blogs but there are some great photos, check out this blog which has photos of the Gold Coast. Also if your heading to the Gold Coast check out A Gold Coast Holiday and if youre hungry visit the Gold Coast Food Guide. While your heading that way, just up the road is Brisbane Australia and it's well worth a visit. And nearby is Redcliffe so check out Glenns Redcliffe Photography blog too.

Of course Australia is a huge place so there is much to see and learn! Also stop by at the Visit Australia Blog. Here you will find even more photos of Australia and it's beaches, and here is more info on travelling to Australia.

Still travelling along looking for more litrature on the blogernet? Try this for random musings on Australian travel or perhaps you'd like to discover how two British expats are morphing into aussies as all good brits should. Or perhaps you like to follow the travel journeys and thoughts on global travel from an Australian point of view, if so then check out Oz Traveller
